A01 High Power Light:

What is A01 High Power Light:?

The full name of COB is the Chip On Board: directly package the chip on the circuit board. “Chip on Board” LEDs for flexible cob led strip lights are sometimes referred to as flip-chips. Flip chip LEDs are basically a bare-bones approach to LED construction.

Take a look at an ordinary SMD (Surface Mount Device) LED. It has a Lamp bead holder that package the LED chip and then covers it with a phosphor coating. The ‘flip chip’ that makes up the COB LED strip removes everything from its design, except for the LED chip, yellow phosphor cover layer, and connection pads.

The COB led strip is a high-density led lighting strip made by COB encapsulation, which can reduce the thermal resistance of the high-density strip circuit system, greatly improves the life of the LED, and the light flux density is high, the glare is small, and the light is uniform and there is no dark area.

What is A01 High Power Light:?

How to produce COB LED Strip Light?

1. Expanding Chips: using an expansion machine, which pulls apart the LED chips attached to the surface of the film and makes it easier to pick and place them onto the PCB.
2. Die Bonding: The expanded LED chips are then die-bonded onto the flexible PCB (FPCB) using specialized equipment.
3. Resistors onto FPCB: The resistors are attached to the FPCB, which will control the amount of current flowing through the LED chips.
4. Reflow: The FPCB, with chips and resistors attached, is subjected to high temperatures over 65 degrees Celsius using a reflow oven.
5. Fluorescent Powder Glue Mixing: A special fluorescent powder glue is mixed to increase the luminosity and color rendering index of the LED strip.
6. Glue Application: The fluorescent powder glue is applied to the surface of the chips and resistors using an automatic glue machine.
7. Oven Curing: The glued COB LED strip is put into an oven to cure the glue and ensure that it adheres to the chips and resistors.
8. QC Testing: The finished COB LED strip is subjected to rigorous quality control testing to ensure it meets the required specifications.
9. Soldering: The PCB is cut into 5-meter reels or cut to the length requested by the customer and is then soldered into the desired configuration.
10. Aging Test, QC Test, Packing, and Shipping: The COB LED strip undergoes an aging test and final QC test before being packaged and shipped to customers. The packaging is designed to protect the COB LED strip during shipping and includes foam padding, bubble wrap, or cardboard boxes as needed.
